Week 2 Reading

Computer Hardward-
The Wikipedia page gave an overview on the basic physical breakdown on the different components that make up a personal computer.  This page can be beneficial as a useful resource for people working with technology systems, but do not have much training or knowledge of how each piece works together.
This page also highlights that many people facing computer problems might turn to an internet database for answers, rather than an instruction manual or manufacturer's resources.
Moore's Law Wikipedia & Video-
The Wikipedia page outlining Moore's Law outlined the expectations and theory he was able to make back in the 1960's on the growth and development of improving technologies in regards to transistors. 
The fact that Moore's law cannot continue forever, it makes me wonder, will we continue to use transistors in the future, or will we further develop them into an offshoot that will continue to develop their capabilities. I felt the video was able to give a clear and concise explanation for Moore's law that was better for the less technical user, like myself.
Computer History Museum-
The Computer History Museum is located in Mountain View, CA and their aim is to preserve artifacts and systems that have contributed to the computer revolution.  The computer and computer systems have developed at at rapid pace in the last 60 years, and this institution not only houses and exhibits artifacts, but it also provides education opportunities in the form of lectures, seminars and workshops.
